Automatically opening and retracting front legs
and full counterbalancing, make for safe, smooth and easy
operation, even for the young, the old and for many handicapped customers.
The ‘Wiskaway’ 7500 Wallbed comes complete with
flexible rubber bedding retaining strap(s). These are permanently attached
to the head end and are simply stretched across when the bed has been made
in the morning and hooked on to the foot end, to hold the mattress and all
the bedding - including the pillows - securely in place when the bed is
folded away.
Because the 'Wiskaway' 7500 is counterbalanced, it must be
securely fixed to the wall.
To complement our 'Wiskaway' 7500 Wallbeds, we offer a choice of
mattresses, all flame retardant to ignition source 5. Wipe-clean/'waterproof'
and Source 7
mattresses are also available.
Although we offer a whole range of 'Vertical' wall
beds, the 'Wiskaway' 7500 Wallbed has proved the most popular for heavy-duty contract
applications and is ideal for incorporation into fire stations, hospitals,
hotels, student accommodation, studio flats, etc.
The 'Wiskaway' 7500 Wallbed is available in a variety of
standard single and double, as well as in made-to-measure sizes and the housings come in a wide choice of finishes,
ranging from MFC to plastic laminates and real veneers.
Matching
lockers/wardrobes, work tops, etc. are also available - full details on
request.
Special features include a super-strong,
heavy-duty, welded steel frame for extra durability and a unique
pre-tensioned, firm, woven-steel mesh base which is guaranteed never to
sag and allows air to circulate freely around the mattress and bedding,
even when the bed is folded away.
